BNEFF Expands with the addition of 15 new teams.
The BNEFF moves its start date
Hawthorne, NY March 2 2010: After interviewing 22 teams in its winter meetings the BNEFF has selected 15 new teams into the league to be added to the roster of 12 returning teams. The BNEFF welcomes following teams; from Pennsylvania the Chambersburg Cardinals, Central Penn Piranha, NEPA Miners; from New Jersey the NJ Lions, NJ Battle, NJ Stags, NJ Hitmen, Woodbridge Bulldogs, NJ Spartans NJ Wolves; from New York the Westchester Steelers, Brooklyn Mariners; from Virginia the Southern Virginia Trojans, Virginia Hornets and from North Carolina the Carolina Stallions. They will join the return Hudson Valley (NY) Cowboys, Bergen Co.(NJ) Hawks, NJ Longhorns, NY Venom, NE(CT) Knights, Westchester (NY) Packers, N. Philly Cowboys, NW (PA) Giants, Philadelphia Pride, Tacony (PA) Eagles, Lehigh Valley Storm(formerly East Penn Sting) and South Jersey Vikings.
The BNEFF will move the start of its 2010 season forward to July 24 2010, playing ten regular season games with an Open or Bye week on September 4-5.The regular season will end October 2, 2010 and the League Championship Game to be played November 6, 2010
. The 2010 BNEFF season looks to be the best yet with the balance of teams that will keep our fans on the edge of their seat. Coming soon is a new look for our league website, which will give fans user friendly pre and post game information.

NorthEast Eagles are having a PS3
Madden '10 Tournament at Chammps in South Philadelphia on a week night
between March 22nd-26th. $30 per person, 60 person limit, 1st come
first served. 1/2 the proceeds go towards the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
purse. All are welcome.
